When observing a pea pod skin under a foldscope clicked these pics. In the first two images the thin layer seems to crumple, looks cool, you an even see some details if u pay attention.2nd image is dark field one. On adding a drop of water internals are easily visible.

Images of an orange seed coat . When the first image was taken using Foldscope the specimen had become dry. After I hydrated it with a drop of water details were easier to observe !

Note : Digital filters were applied to enhance quality of images !

When checking out a male pumpkin flower with a foldscope, saw these strange spring like structures on the filament. Initially I thought it was something that coiled after rupturing, but seems like these are independent structures. Any guesses what these might be ?

Attempted dark field microscopy using a foldscope and a bindi which I borrowed from my wife. Amazed with the results. Checkout the last stomata image. We can almost see 3D structure of the stomata. Feels like electron microscope stuff ..lol

When observing cross section of a snake gourd leaf using Foldscope, found these interesting looking cellular structure. Are these chloroplasts ?
