Rangoli seen through a compound microscope !! Happy Diwali everyone !

Are these structures pollen sacks ? I was trying to observe pollen grains, but looks like they were locked into these sacks !

Saw a nematode for the first time with my compound microscope !

Saw some kind of dots on a dead stem. I thought those were insect eggs. When I checked those using my microscope turned out to be a fungus !

I scraped some green stuff from outside my house and observed it. Not sure if this is algae !

I was always curious about white things on custard apples (it’s very common). Thought was some kind of fungus. Closer observation showed silk cocoon like structure made of threads. Then suddenly something moved. It was an insect which was creating this structure using it’s tail !

Saw some kind of growth on my leather wallet which I hadn’t touched for many days. Decided to observe it using my microscope. Looks like some kind of fungi, maybe aspergillus ?

Stigma and anther of tube rose flower. What is interesting is the shape and color of pollen grains. They appear like pearls when suspended in water? Does anyone know why ?
