These were very small structures I could see in the sample, but wasn’t sure if they were diatoms.
Roots of a lovely looking succulent seen through the foldscope. I got it from a nursery near my home. They had a bunch of these, growing like lotuses in a large glass bowl.

Tried a cavity slide (aka depression slide I guess) with Foldscope. Enables capture movements of creatures without harming them. Looks like a Daphnia !
