Cucumber cells seen through my foldscope
Looked like a piece of white thread stuck on a leaf. When seen under a foldscope it seems this is some kind of hairy seed. Not sure what it is !
Pollen grains, anther and parts of filament (if I am not wrong) of a what seems to be a Sweet William flower.
Lotus flower pollen and stem cross section observed using Foldscope
Put together videos of vase water sample observed using a Foldscope
I could see three types of organisms, one is larger ameoba type, then there are very small round shaped ones and last one looks like some bacteria on zooming.
Interesting looking microbes seen using foldscope. Are they Colpoda? Also not sure if the small ones are bacteria or something else.
I saw some microbes moving all around in a vase water sample.
Baby microorganisms swimming in water and a big one which makes a guest appearance every now and then. Foldscope #Diy #Science
Saw microbes for first time with Foldscope . The little guy in the pic was rotating and moving around the slide. Couple of others moved very fast and were a challenge to photograph. Light and focussing played a key part when hunting for these guys !
Pulp of chikoo fruit (also known as sapota or sapodilla). This slide was prepared, observed and photographed by my 7 year old daughter ! Feels great when she brings something frm kitchen and wants to see it using her foldscope. Last pic was taken without staining.
